The Micromax Andro A60 is a 3G Android phone sporting a 2.8-inch resistive touch screen. The A60 runs the stock Android 2.1 Eclair OS and offers the usual bag of Android goodies like Microsoft Exchange support and enhanced web browsing via the Webkit browser. The Andro is powered by a surprisingly high-end 600Mhz Qualcomm processor and runs CPU intensive apps like Speed Forge 3D without any hassle. The 3.2 MP camera shoots fairly good snaps in daylight, with above average detail and color tone accuracy. The mobile can also record videos and allows users to directly share it on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

Design

The A60 sports a compact streamlined chassis that allows for an ergonomic grip whilst rendering it extremely portable. Below the display are the three touch sensitive buttons, a D pad and two more buttons which can be customized for specific functions. The Micromax 3G mobile is loaded with an accelerometer and proximity sensor for auto-orientation and auto-turn off.

Battery and Storage

The A60 comes with 150 MB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32Gb via microSD card. The Micromax Andro is powered by a 1280 mAh battery and gives a talktime of 4 hrs with 10 days of standby.
 
Connectivity and Features

The Micromax A60 supports full connectivity options including HSDPA, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The 3G handset supports social networking widgets for Facebook, Orkut, Myspace and Twitter.

Multimedia features in the A60 includes an MP3 player with 3.5mm port and a video player with streaming and recording option. Micromax has included Swype support for the Andro A60 which allows for much faster and less erroneous typing.
