Design
This HCL touchscreen Tablet has a 7-inch capacitive multi-touch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The HCL ME AM7 is a compact, classy-looking device, white in colour with a slightly curved look, with the centre of the Tablet being stouter than the rest. This HCL Tablet is about 197 mm in height, 13.8 mm deep, 126 mm wide and weighs 300 g, making it easily portable. The Tablet also has an in-built camera of 1.3 megapixels.
Storage and Battery
The HCL ME AM7 comes with a built-in memory of 8 GB, which can be extended up to 16 GB by means of a microSD and microSDHC card. The Tablet uses a 4200 mAH Lithium-Polymer rechargeable battery which gives you up to 7 hours of video playback.
Connectivity and Features
The HCL ME AM7-A1 also conforms to Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, and supports Bluetooth version 2.1. The Tablet also has a SiRF3 Assisted-GPS support which helps you get directions from wherever you are. Apart from the SIM card slot, this HCL ME AM7 Tablet comes with an SD MMC slot, a USB 2.0 port, an integrated microphone and 3.5 mm stereo jack.
The HCL AM7 Tablet supports Full HD 1080p videos up to 25 frames per second and supports AAC, MP3, WAV and AMR audio formats. The Tablet also has built-in high quality speakers giving you the ultimate entertainment experience.
